2. What data is processed and why
2.1 Usage analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, I use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to learn which pages get read, from which country and on which kind of device. The data is aggregated and pseudonymised: I do not try to identify you or combine it with other sources.
- Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given or refused in the cookie notice. Until you accept, no measurement tag is loaded.
- Processor: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Retention: 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatic deletion.
- Withdrawing consent: at any time, using the "Cookie settings" button in the footer or from the cookie policy.
2.2 Email contact
This site has no form. If you email me at ayelen.barricarte@gmail.com, I process your name, your address and whatever you tell me in order to reply. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering your query (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, if we discuss a project, the pre-contractual steps you ask for (art. 6(1)(b)). I keep emails while the conversation is open and for no more than two years after the last message.
2.3 What I do not do
There is no newsletter, no user accounts, I do not sell or share data with third parties, I do not use personalised advertising and I make no automated decisions about you.
3. Links to third parties
The site links to LinkedIn and other external sites. Each has its own privacy policy and I have no control over how they handle your data.
4. Your rights
You can ask me to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to ayelen.barricarte@gmail.com stating which right you want to exercise. I reply within one month at most.
If you believe I have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
5. Security
The site is static, served over HTTPS, and stores no data on any server of its own. The only data in transit is analytics, if you accept it, and the emails you send me.
6. Changes
If I change this policy, I update the date above. If the change matters, I announce it visibly on the site.
